About me
Marie-Noëlle is an experienced lawyer and chief compliance officer. Prior to joining BCLC and the world of gambling, she worked in law firms, as well as in senior roles in the financial services industry. She currently Marie-Noëlle oversees all facets of player health, legal services, policy, anti-money laundering, investigations, data and information governance, security, compliance, and privacy at BCLC.
Her diverse background includes litigation experience representing major banks and as chief compliance officer and legal counsel for securities firms and trust companies.
Marie-Noëlle is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D), is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), has completed several courses from the Canadian Securities Institute, is a Canadian Risk Manager and has completed the Certified Financial Planner and Trust and Estate Practitioner Diplomas.
She strongly believes in giving back to the community. She has served as director of several not-for-profit organizations and currently sits on the board of a charity created to raise funds to find cures for rare diseases in kids. A committed mentor, she is a member of the Global Gaming Women Association and is the executive sponsor of BCLC’s employee-led AIM committee which supports and advances gender equity within the organization.
